Online Ballot and Voting for COMMS Board Candidates & By-laws with New Name

ICOM COMMS members: You are invited to vote for the new board candidates (2025-2028) and By-laws with our new name, November 3 through 12, 2025.

(Your ICOM ID number is necessary to validate your vote.)

Who is eligible:
1) Members who designated COMMS as their official International Committee by October 31.
2) Members who are up to date with membership dues.
3) Members who are designated as student members in the database are not eligible.

Board Candidates:
There are 26 candidates from 21 countries! You will vote for one candidate each for Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, and five out of the 20 candidates for Ordinary Members.

New By-laws with New Name:
In 2024, members voted to change our name from ICOM MPR, International Committee for Marketing and Public Relations, to ICOM COMMS, International Committee for Communications, Marketing and Audience Engagement. ICOM COMMS also updated its By-laws to include the new name and used the template recommended by the ICOM Secretariat, with additional edits. General Assembly:
The voting results will be announced at the General Assembly on Thursday, November 15, during our joint International Committee Offsite Day at Terra Expo City, which will be held during the 27th ICOM General Conference in Dubai. A Zoom link will be provided here and on social media for live streaming, and the meeting will be recorded for posting on YouTube for those not in attendance in Dubai.
